A Bit About Me

Hello, My name is Vince! I am a US Army veteran! Since I was a kid I've always been into 3D art, I've always been a big fan of video games, Anime and 3D graphics. One of my favorite people in the industry is work by Hideo Kojima and his team. Since having played Metal Gear Solid, Spyro The Dragon, Croc Legend of the Gobbos, Resident Evil and Colony Wars, I wanted to learn how video games were made. I want to learn how to create a digital world allowing people can experience something special!

Some of my interests include a love for the Ancient Egyptian symbolic art and architecture.  I really enjoy visionary artist's like Alex Grey and Amanda Sage. On my free time, I arm chair research the effects of how psychedelics altered consciousness throughout human history. I'm a really big fan a rallying (motorsport), science, philosophy, the nature of reality, astronomy, music (All kinds; underground hiphop/death metal/psytrance/soundtracks etc. lol), ancient civilizations and like drinking and hanging out with my chosen family!

After leaving the military I started to teach myself different aspects of 3D modeling/lighting/programming/texturing/game design. I was accepted to LCAD in 2018 (Laguna College of Art +Design) Game Art Program, I was awarded a merit scholarship, but the school was to expensive to attend. Anyways as for software I mainly use free and open source programs and operating system, (Linux Mint, GIMP and Blender)!

As with any profession or hobby you have to keep practicing! I have much to learn, so over time I'll upload some of my new renders and projects; Additionally, I’ll improve and upgrade my work over time, for me its one big creative experiment! At the same time I'd like to show my progression from noob to pro. I also would like any constructive critiques on my website or renders. I'm a 3D Generalist, taking everything in! One of two things is going to happen, either I get hired at an awesome video game company or a make my own proper video games!!! Hope you enjoy your visit here at Colexium! Take care! :-D
